Owner, Josh Dela Cruz

Josh began his career as an actor for stage and screen where he developed his visual storytelling skills learning from the industry’s best directors, producers and cinematographers. After inheriting his mother’s Yashica FX-2000 from the 80s he studied with Santa Monica College’s darkroom director and Chuck Kelton print maker, Sean Blocklin. Using those skills he transitioned into professional headshot and portrait photography, photographing Tony award winners and broadway veterans. After a stellar run working in front of the camera, Josh used the opportunity to learn lighting and cinematography from professionals in the field. As a life long learner Josh is always looking for challenging work that he can apply his skills and unique background as a storyteller.
